I was blinded by my own heart, the unrealistic belief that things could be so perfect  You’re no different that anyone else, not the slightest bit better  You lack sincerity, you treated everyone with disrespect  You’re words stinging as they flowed through my veins with every word uttered

My days seems to get longer, and I seem to be in my head much more than usual lately, and that's really saying something. I have found myself not wanting to awaken in the morning, as well. But, I shall live- this too shall pass. I am a survivor, and I must remain strong. I must stay honest with myself. That's all that I can do- is follow my intuition and listen to what's in my head, not in my heart. I can't afford to listen to my heart over my head anymore.
